Orb Ring - Size 8

This year I explored a lot of new skills in my jewelry practice, and my favourite of them might just be wax carving! Jewelers have used the lost wax casting method for more than 6000 years to create three dimensional, sculptural jewelry designs. The rings I'm offering in this batch is each one of a kind, carved from a block of wax to very specific proportions, softly rounded in all the right places for maximum comfort. They are chunky, weighty, bold yet soft, and profoundly powerful. There is nothing that compares to the feeling of 20 grams of precious metal wrapping around your finger. Hope you love! With my signature satin finish for an old world feel.

Measures size 8 on a ring mandrel, and tapers nicely at the back for a ring that's incredible wearable and comfortable despite its epic chunkiness. Keep in mind that fingers contract and swell throughout the day, depending on weather, time of day, emotional + physical state, etc. 

All handcrafted using traditional silversmithing techniques, with my own two hands and a lot of heart and soul. Each North Star Silver order comes lovingly packaged and ready for gift-giving.
