Dichotomy necklaces. Itty bitty, reversible pendants with a sun on one face and a moon on the other. Meant for the every day, and strung on teeny tiny sandalwood beads that smell like a musky, woodsy heaven on earth. Available in two lengths: 16 inches and 18 inches (the shorter version is shown in the picture, and sits around the collarbone). Closes with a lobster clasp. Oxidized satin finish. 

These necklaces also represent the marriage of old + new in my journey as a jewelry artist. Before I lit up a torch for the first time in 2018, I created jewelry using cold connections (beading, wire wrapping, etc), for the better part of 20 years, beginning in childhood. For this special piece, I created the pendant using my jeweler's saw and torch, in a culmination of the traditional metalsmithing techniques I’ve been obsessively working on for the last 5 years; and then I lovingly beaded the necklace. 

All handcrafted using traditional silversmithing techniques, with my own two hands and a lot of heart and soul. Each North Star Silver order comes lovingly packaged and ready for gift-giving. I use GOTS-certified organic cotton jewelry bags and/or 100% post consumer recycled kraft jewelry boxes with natural cotton filling.
